If you stick to only what you know
Then what you know is only what you’ve had on show
And more than likely it’s of no
Value to expanding, the view from where you’re standing
The truth may be right behind the wall that you’re not planning
On ever scaling, or taking a peek around
Get steady breaking, brick by brick, every bit of it down
Where’s the fun in sticking in a grim prison of ignorance
And slim vision, this links to instinctive belligerence
Soul and spirits innocence is simply set at birth you know
Your future is dependent on some factors such as where you go
What you read, what you watch, what you eat and what you’ve got
As stimuli for thought, if you’ve got none, you’ve really lost the plot
The lessons there to learn, the fuel is there to burn,
The world is here, you’re on it, through the air we turn
Pivoted on an axis, spinning merrily we
Live a lot or just a little bit depending on the level of the energy
We have at our disposal, do you want to spend it cleverly
Or just attempt to stockpile your total
Saving for a rainy day you never know will
Come, seems overly dumb, blow your load is my proposal
Think about it soberly, there’s only now,
Don’t be sat drinking loads of tea, full of juice of cow, clutching rosaries
Hoping for something to happen to overthrow the groaning creeks
Of father time’s foreboding tone of speech
Throw the wind some caution,
Throw the bin a massive portion of the thought that you’re not awesome
Throw a finger in the cauldron,
Grin and feel your spirit roaring
Throw a middle digit up at boredom
Send away the snoring
Sink your gnashers into the immediate, get feeling it
To wade in guilt as a tradition is terrifically meaningless
Be a decent deviant, break decrees to bits
Especially if they just keep you seeping weak obedience
To nonsense, what says the status quo is nature’s way
Why just goggle at the box and rot? Go and create today
Raise your status, pervade a fragrant ray
Of greatness through the stale, forsaken, undulating haze of grey
Find out what you want to say then step and fill a pedestal
Set your skeletal free to serve up a spectacle
If you want to paint a pretty picture go and flex a quill
The world needs fruition and less infected vegetables
